Production Blog: Final Touches

 This is it! My final production blog ever. I mean, I still have to submit the actual short film packet and the CR as blogs, but this is my final PRODUCTION blog. Man, am I gonna miss writing these. Anyway, I had finished the website and the postcard. 

Now, it was time to check in on Aidan and make sure that he's been doing his part. I called him at around 9 P.M just to check in and see if he needed any help. Guess what...he did! He had forgotten how to spell Donovan's last name (Gutierrez) and was panicking because he couldn't find it anywhere. I spelled it out for him before realizing that not only Donovan's first name was also spelt wrong, but my name was spelt wrong too! He spelt Donovan as Danavan and my last name as De Kegal instead of De Kegel. Of course, its no big deal, and I told him that. But he felt really bad and made the effort to change every spelling mistake. He had also forgotten the order of which the titles have to be in, so I had to give him a refresher on that. I had to give him some advice on lowering the volume of the music so that the dialogue is still present. Due to the wind, the sound on some videos were a bit muffled. And poor Abby does not speak loudly, so the music was completely covering the dialogue. 

But other than that, our project was finished and ready to be finalized. This has been a long two year journey of nonstop blogging and filming, but I am so glad that I took it. Until next time, Cambridge!
