Reflection

This project has allowed me to learn how to use many new things. Not only with new technology, but as well as time management and organization skills. But mainly technology. I walked into this classroom clueless about what I was going to learn. But now I've started to learn a lot about how to use technology! I used to just use my phone for social media and google, but I've learned that I can make cool short clips and edit as well. I've learned how to put videos together so that they switch on beat with a song. My teacher also taught us how to copy the HTML code from the video and place it directly onto our blog!

As this assignment helped me learn more about technology, it also helped me learn more about time management and staying on top of my work. I thought that I had all the time in the world to work on my production blogs. But after i completed the first one, I realized I had less time than I thought I did. Since these blogs did not have a set in stone due date, I fell behind after the first one. I ignored the recommended due date and ended up procrastinating a bit. Eventually, I realized that I should start taking things more seriously and got to work on my blogs and was able to catch up. From here on out, I know to submit my work on time so that it does not delay my process. 

For my next project, I will make sure not to procrastinate on any of my assignments. As soon as it is assigned, I will try my best to do it the day we were informed about it and get it in before the due date. I will remind myself to be motivated and not get discouraged. I now also have a better understanding of what my teacher and Cambridge is looking for. I will work harder to make my blogs more detailed and entertaining. Writing more proficient blogs will allow my projects to be of a higher quality. It will also keep me motivated by trying to beat the excellence of my previous blog and grow my writing skills stronger each day. 

The experience I have had making this commercial has taught me so much about technology. I can already tell that I am going to enjoy this class very much! I really enjoyed putting together my commercial, I found it a lot of fun. Although, there were some frustrating parts. On CapCut my video seemed perfectly fine. But once i had downloaded it onto my phone, the video turned out to be delayed. I had to go back and make many changes. Even though I couldn't get it perfectly, the timing was good enough, but I still did the best I could. I am so excited to begin working on my music video next!
